And if heat dissipation is taken into account, weight is a problem; if weight is taken into account, heat dissipation is difficult to guarantee. The lifespan of an LED driver board at 70 degrees may only be 5 years (for home use), far from the “concept” of 10 years for an LED wick. So compared to fluorescent lamps of the same brightness, even if the fluorescent lamp has only a lifespan of 1 year, a 1W 1 yuan fluorescent lamp is much more cost-effective than a 1W 10 yuan LED. In particular, when LED lamps are damaged, the wick is often not broken, but the entire lamp must be replaced. Calculate that because one-tenth of the driver board has to discard the remaining nine-tenths of the lamp (the wick and heat sink account for most of the cost of the entire lamp), if every manufacturer does not do a good job of recycling and reuse, customers will not like such products. - Efficiency
Why should we consider the issue of efficiency? One is the PF value, and the other is the system efficiency. Since most of the existing LED designs are low-power, they all use passive PFC (valley filling) due to cost pressure, and the PF may be as high as 90, which is far less than the efficiency of active PFC, which is 99. For the country, it is a pressure to replace fluorescent lamps with very similar luminous efficiency with LEDs. Since most of the existing designs of LED lamps (except street lamps) are low-power, such as 4.8W, 7.2W, etc., the loss of the device accounts for a large proportion, and the isolation method is bound to be very low. In order to improve efficiency, the non-isolation method must not only be well designed in terms of safety, but also the efficiency is only about 80, which is not ideal. In addition, the existing LED manufacturers have not provided accurate values for the illuminance of LEDs, and the luminous brightness is often far less than the nominal value. - Light perception
One advantage of LED is the pure spectrum, but this is a very serious disadvantage in terms of vision.
The human eye cannot observe a single color spectrum light source for a long time. LED can be dimmed, but it is more troublesome and professional, requiring theoretical and a large amount of research data support, which is difficult for many manufacturers of uniform light materials or LED light source manufacturers or solution providers to achieve. - Lifespan
The bottleneck of LED lifespan is the system driver board. Often the LED wick is not damaged, but the system driver is broken. In addition, the light decay of LED is very serious. Most of the existing LED household lighting is limited by volume, and it is difficult to do a good job in protection, especially in areas with large voltage fluctuations and serious interference. - Weight
In the spiral interface lamps, the weight of fluorescent lamps is only a fraction of that of LED lamps. Since there is no heat sink problem, the weight of fluorescent lamps can be ignored for lamp holders, but the weight of LEDs is a serious test for lamp holders, especially 7.8W spiral interface LED lamps.
Generally, the granularity of LED lamps is more obvious, and the light emission position is more concentrated. There will be a tingling feeling when visually viewing the lamps.
