SMD light strips refer to Surface Mounted Devices (Surface Mounted Devices) light strips. The LED chips are directly mounted on the substrate of the light strip and are packaged to form rows of small lamp beads. They are an integral part of the LED light strip. A common type. How to Connect & Install SMD LED Strips
How to install IP20 and IP54 SMD light strips:
1.Make sure the surface on which the LED tape is to be applied is flat, smooth, dry and clean.
2.Measure the required size and cut it at the connection mark of the led strip.
3.Match the pads and solder them securely (labelled 12V or 24V +/-).
4.You can also connect strips using LED tape connectors.
5.Remove the adhesive on the back of the strip.
6.Stick the strip on the surface of the cleaned area. Please avoid press the led chip with you finger, it will caused it broken and unable.
How to install IP65 and IP67 light strips:
1.Prepare clips and screws before installation
2.Measure the required size and cut it at the connection mark of the led strip.
3.Match the pads and solder them securely (labelled 12V or 24V +/-).
4.Waterproof the welds with glue and plugs.
5.LED tapes cannot be bent or twisted in the demonstrated directions.
6.Secure the clips to the object with screws, do not damage the led strip light when securing.

To ensure a longer lifespan, we recommend choosing a power supply with a loading capacity approximately 20% higher than the actual requirement.
